Sometimes, immigration authorities or Airline agents may request a signed and notarized travel consent letter for a traveler under 18 years old who is traveling abroad alone, with only one parent, with friends, relatives, or even with a group for an event or sports activity. This letter should be issued by the parents who are not accompanying the child, granting their consent for the child to travel alone or with others. The letter should clearly specify the dates of the trip and provide information about the individuals accompanying the child during the trip.
